Governance

Our College is governed by a Board of Directors which is appointed by members of the Geraldton Christian Community Schools Association Inc.  This Association comprises a community of committed members who have a vision and love for the College.  The Board of Directors employs our Principal/CEO to oversee the day to day running of Strathalbyn Christian College and our sister organisation, Strathalbyn Missions. 

The Geraldton Christian Community Schools Association Inc Board chooses to govern using policies which guide the Board’s operation and provides a framework in which the Principal/CEO can make decisions in the daily operation of Strathalbyn Christian College.

The Geraldton Christian Community Schools Association Inc is a member of a national association, Christian Parent Controlled Schools Ltd, which provides support and training for the staff and Board alike.

Over the last 30 years the Board has provided leadership for the College.  This leadership has enabled the vision of our founders of providing a God honoring, quality education in partnership with parents to be a reality in Geraldton.

The Association’s vision which articulates our direction and aspirations is:
