In recent decades, we have witnessed a steady erosion of ethics, values and relationships in every level of society. We can no longer afford to sit idly by while our youth are seduced by false religion, paganism and lawlessness.
 
The driving force of our Western society is the pursuit of self, ambition and pleasure. We live in a culture obsessed with self.  Like the frog in the kettle, Christians can get sucked into embracing unbiblical values as acceptable if they do not know God’s ways. It is imperative that we return to the foundations of God’s Word to test the barrage of lies that our society dishes up as truth and wisdom. Here at Strathalbyn Christian College we teach that God, the author of Truth, wants His people to be freed from the falsehoods of unbiblical thinking and to avoid the pitfalls of self-satisfaction, passivity and distractions.
 
We believe that our students need to be trained to engage (be involved in), critique (discern right from wrong based on Biblical Truths) and transform (make a positive difference) our society. At Strath we endeavour to help our students discover and develop their God-given gifts so that they can do just that.
