Wow – a quarter of the teaching year gone already with some significant milestones already passed.

Colin Buchanan's visit to Strathalbyn Christian College has been hailed a success. Tickets sold out before the show and fans of all ages were thrilled with the performer's delightful performance.

The WA Government has announced changes to the structure of Year 11 and 12 courses to take effect from 2015/2016. This will affect current year 9 students and later, those who are younger. While the exact details of the changes are still being announced, there are some immediate changes that will affect our current year 11s as well.

From the beginning of Term 3, 2012, we will trial some adjustments to the flow of vehicle and foot traffic in and around the Cedar Crescent car park. 

The Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) requires the college to inform parents that the college is providing DEEWR with personal information about our students in order for DEEWR to make decisions about funding for non-government schools.

The Principal's ‘Parent Feedback’ online survey has closed however, parents and guardians are encouraged to continue to share their family's experiences at the college.

Funding provided by the Commonwealth Government through the Smarter Schools National Partnership is complemented by co-investment by the Western Australian educaiton sectors and schools. Together, this funding is designed to build the capacity of Western Australian schools to contrinute to the achievement of a number of high level outcomes. Download the document to learn more.
